Thursday 27 November 2025 27th November - A creative assembly Two of our fantastic pupils delivered an assembly on creativity to KS1. They shared their ideas about how everyone can be creative, for example, in drama, music, art, maths, science - and most recently, during Two Waters' Enterprise week. They showed the children the importance of marvellous mistakes when using imaginations and being creative (for example, highlighting fantastic inventions such as penicillin, post-it notes, ice lollies and chocolate chip cookies that were all a result of a marvellous mistake)!

Friday 21 November 2025 21 November - Enterprise Day at Two Waters Enterprise Day at Two Waters was the culmination of a week-long project for every class. Pupils designed, created, packaged and marketed their products using a wide range of skills such as researching, creative thinking, collaboration, budgeting, evaluating risk, pricing, influencing and persuading customers, and adapting their offers based on feedback. Many children commented on how proud they felt to take on real responsibilities and to see their ideas come to fruition. All the children work

Monday 3 November 2025 Falconry UK visits Two Waters With thanks to our School Council bake sale, our pupils were able to enjoy a fantastic visit from Falconry UK. Falconry UK School presentations are run by experienced and professional falconers with a passion for birds. The children learned about how the birds are adapted for their environments and were able to meet a kookaburra, an eagle, a pygmy falcon, owls and a raven. This was such a special way to start the new half term off! Huge thanks to Falconry UK for coming to visit us!

Wednesday 15 October 2025 Harvest Festival Today, we celebrated Harvest Festival with two wonderful assemblies. It was such a pleasure to see so many parents and carers join us to celebrate this special time of year. We are incredibly grateful for the generous food donations we received in support of DENS, our local charity that provides emergency accommodation, food and practical support to people facing homelessness or hardship in the Hemel Hempstead area.

Tuesday 7 October 2025 Welcoming our Reception children Two Waters' Buddy Assembly took place this morning and is always a much anticipated annual event. Each Year 6 pupil has a Reception pupil buddy that they spend time with across the year. The assembly this morning was an opportunity for our Year 6 pupils to introduce their buddies to the school community. They shared their buddies' likes and dislikes as well as what they wanted to be when they grew up! It is always wonderful to see our older children supporting the younger ones and demonstrating the strong sense of community that makes Two Waters such a special place.
