6th February - Number Day in Year 3!

Year 3 had a fantastic time celebrating Number Day! The children arrived at school in wonderfully creative outfits decorated with numbers, which made the classroom feel extra exciting from the very start. Throughout the morning, we took part in a range of fun maths activities, including a maths mystery where we worked together to solve clues and discover which knight was the culprit. The children also tackled number problem-solving challenges in groups, showing brilliant teamwork and reasoning skills. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a variety of maths-themed games such as Uno, Maths Twister, Monopoly, Fractions Snap and number matching puzzles. It was a fun-filled day of learning, laughter and mathematical thinking, and the children had a fantastic time from beginning to end! 🎲🔢
