The Windrush

For the last term, we have been learning all about the Windrush generation and their legacy and contributions some historical figures of African and Caribbean descent made to Britain.

In small groups, we chose one of the following historical figures;

Baroness Floella Benjamin

Baroness Patricia Scotland QC

Lord David Pitt

Baroness Doreen Lawrence

Lord Herman Ouseley

Rudy Narayan

We then presented our findings in a creative and exciting way to the class such as posters, news reports, comic strips, role-plays and interviews.
