Robot workshop!

On Tuesday afternoon, we were lucky enough to experience a STEM workshop by Amazon ‘Think Big’ which combined Science with Computing. First, they taught us about hard skills and soft skills (e.g. resilience, team-work, communication, leadership etc). They expressed how future employers are mainly looking for candidates with soft skills as they are transferable.

Following this, they taught us how to build robots out of lego with motors. Once we had built our unique robots, we used precise instructions and coding to make our robot move in different directions. It was such an entertaining, interactive and memorable learning experience!
