This week in Literacy, we have been reading Cloud Busting by Malorie Blackman. We have explored the different types of poetry used to tell the story and used a zone of relevance to discuss vocabulary and how accurately it describes the main characters.

We ended the week by performing some of the poems from the book. During our performances, we focused on working collaboratively to demonstrate tone, intonation, and a range of expressive techniques.

We are looking forward to next week, when we will be writing our own poems inspired by our learning.
