Friday 7th November - Fantastic Falconry

A Fantastic Start to the New Half Term!

It’s been so lovely to welcome the children back after the half term break and to see everyone excited to jump straight back into learning.

To kick off our week, we had an amazing falconry experience! The children were fascinated as they learned all about a wide variety of birds, including owls, ravens, kookaburras, and more. It was wonderful to see these magnificent birds up close — and even more exciting for the children to have the chance to hold some of them! It truly was a fantastic way to start the week.

In music, the children have been exploring improvisation and learning our new Christmas song. This term, our focus is on rap and pop music, and the class have already shown great rhythm and creativity. Their musical pieces kept in time beautifully, and it was brilliant to see their confidence and teamwork shine through.

What a wonderful start to the half term — we can’t wait to see what the next few weeks bring!
