8th May - Jam sandwiches!

In Literacy this week, we developed our understanding of instruction writing. First, we created our own imaginative journeys and shared them with our classmates, using acting to bring our stories to life. Afterwards, Miss Bulley demonstrated how to make a jam sandwich by following VERY simple instructions, which went all wrong and got very messy. This helped us realise that instructions need to be clear, detailed, and descriptive so that others can follow them successfully.
