6th February - Number Day!
Year 4 had a brilliant time celebrating Number Day. In the morning, we worked together to solve a mystery about some missing glue sticks! We worked in groups to find out which child had taken the glue sticks.
To solve the mystery, we used our maths skills like estimation, place value, and ordering numbers. Each time we solved a problem, we revealed a clue that helped us narrow down the suspects. Step by step, we worked it out and finally discovered who had the missing glue sticks!

In the afternoon, we played a range of fun mathematical games. These included chess, Ludo, fraction card games, money card games, and Snakes and Ladders with multiplication and division problems. There were lots of different games to try and everyone had a great time learning maths in a fun way.
