26th September - It's grow time!

This week in Year 1, we’ve been busy with lots of exciting activities! We started by creating our very own cress heads. We followed simple instructions carefully, planting cress seeds on cotton wool and watching them grow over the days. It was wonderful to see our enthusiasm and curiosity as we observed our little green heads sprouting!

Next, we explored technology by logging in and making our own avatars on Purple Mash. We had fun choosing colours, hairstyles, and clothes to create a special character that represents them. It was a great way to practice using the laptops and be creative at the same time.

Finally, we have been getting ready for our Harvest Assembly. The whole class has been practicing our special class song with lots of energy and smiles. We can’t wait to share it with you all during the up and coming Harvest assembly!
