16th October - Autumn adventures!

This week, we enjoyed not one, but TWO Harvest assemblies! We loved coming together to celebrate Harvest and think about the importance of being thankful for the food we eat and the people who help us. Thank you for coming to join us and we hope you loved our 'dingle dangle scarecrow!'

This week in PE, we developed our ball skills in small groups. We practiced taking turns, working as a team and encouraging our friends. We are learning that being a good teammate means sharing, listening and supporting one another.

In science, we have been busy exploring the signs of autumn! We looked carefully at trees and spotted both deciduous and evergreen trees. We talked about how deciduous trees lose their leaves in autumn, while evergreen trees keep their leaves throughout the year. 

We are looking forward to art week next week!
