16th January - Silhouette shadows

In our Year 3 science lesson, we recapped the properties of objects using the key words transparent, translucent, and opaque. We explored different types of shadows and discussed how they are formed, before creating our own. Using torches to make bright light sources, we shone the light onto our hands and carefully drew around them to represent the shadows. The lesson was hands-on and engaging, helping everyone to understand light and shadows in a fun and practical way.

I hope you have a lovely weekend.
