14th November - Electricity is in the Air!

In Science this week, the children have become electrical experts. They started off creating their own complete electrical circuit with one component (lamp, motor, fan or buzzer). Once they had successfully completed their circuits, they then conducted an experiment to see if adding an extra component would result in a different outcome. Following this investigation, many children discovered that adding an extra component meant that the electricity (voltage) was shared and so the parts did not work as effectively (e.g. the bulbs were dimmer). It is clear to see that there are many future scientists in the making!
