12th September - Investigating Rocks

We've had a fantastic first week in Year 3!  One of our highlights was exploring different types of rocks in science.  We examined them closely, describing their colour and texture.  It was really interesting when we were comparing and contrasting their properties.  Some were smooth and shiny and others were rough and dull.  The class shared brilliant observations and worked well together.  It's been a great start to our science learning this year!
