12th December - Christmas Wreaths
In RE this week, Year 3 enjoyed making Christmas wreaths while learning about the meaning behind the Advent candles. As they carefully created their wreaths, the children discussed the importance of the five candles and what each one represents. They learned that the candles stand for hope, peace, joy and love, with the central candle reminding Christians of Jesus. The activity helped the children understand how Advent is a special time of preparation and reflection, and they enjoyed linking their creative work to the important messages of the Christmas story.

Have a lovely weekend!
