Gade School Family Support

Gade Schools Family Support Partnership programme is now an integral part of every school in our area, which allows greater access to a wide range of support for children, young people, parents and the wider community.

The Schools Partnership works with the local community and other organisations to provide children and their families with a range of services and activities that will help improve children’s achievement, wellbeing and more opportunities to succeed in a wide variety of areas.  It aims to provide a broad range of activities to benefit children’s opportunities to play, live and learn but also to support families and the wider community as well.

Some of the activities provided include:
• Parent Support Services  Each school has an allocated Family Support Worker who is available to work in school and with parents at home.
• Pupil Support Services  Pupil Support Workers who are available to work with groups of children or with children on a one to one basis, to support them with their behaviour, emotional wellbeing and overcoming difficulties they may be facing.
• SEND Support  A specialist Family Support Worker works with families of children with SEND.
• Specialist Support – A wide range of local and national agencies to help families access any form of support they may need.

Schools can refer to our services, however, families can refer directly if they would like to speak with a member of staff directly and in confidence.
